Arkham Horror: The Card Game
Fantasy Flight's newest game in the realm of the Cthulhu mythos is a cooperative, living card game of Lovecraftian mystery, monsters, and madness! With new updates coming on a regular basis, this game is set to expand for years to come!
Nominated for more than 9 awards this past year, winning Board Game Geek's Golden Geek Award for Best Card Game, and SXSW's Tabletop Game of the Year, this game is sure to please new players and experienced players alike! With upgrades like those pictured, it is definitely one that will look great on the table!
We are proud to feature the following unique #BoardGameUpgrades for Arkham Horror: The Card Game.
Dead of Winter: A Crossroads Game
One of the most unique board games in the horror and zombie categories today is Dead of Winter, a meta-cooperative, psychological survival game that places you and your friends in very intense situations - often having to make the choice of life and death with those in your camp. Our featured upgrades for this game are some of the most eye-catching!
Mysterium
October is a wonderful time to gather your friends and family around the table and introduce them to board games that have a sense of familiarity and yet are still complex enough to be a fun and strategic experience. Classic games like Clue have inspired, new and innovative games that have taken the industry by storm. One of those games is Mysterium, a cooperative "whodunit" that uses full-size art cards that are given to the party by a single player, who plays as the "ghost." Work together to solve the mystery: who did it, in what room, and with what weapon? Just make sure you do it before the clock runs out of time, or the mystery will remain unsolved...forever!
Betrayal at House on the Hill
Few games accomplish the feat of being able to be played multiple times and even fewer still accomplish the task of having over 50 unique scenarios in one box! Betrayal at House on the Hill does exactly that and offers a fun and unique experience for 3-6 players!
Taking on the role of various characters you must work together to build a unique haunted house and take on frightening spirits. Whatever their role, the cast finds themselves trapped inside a haunted mansion and must set out to explore. Players take turns drawing and setting out floor tiles with each new room they enter. But, wait...one of your fellow adventurers will unexpectedly turn against you and the rest of the party and you must work together to defeat the monster/demon that has taken control of them! Will you save your friend? Will you save yourself? Can you do both? It's time to find out!
Eldritch Horror
The box for Eldritch Horror may be the same size as other board games, but it has more content than most other board games stuffed inside it - try picking it up and you'll feel the weight! This is one of the reasons that we have added this game to our list!
In addition to its literal heft, Eldritch Horror has a great way of weaving a complex narrative into a sophisticated, yet fluid, gameplay experience. No two games will be the same and you and your group of 1-8 will enjoy traveling the globe solving mysteries, overcoming afflictions, battling other-worldly monsters and sealing the gates to the nether regions! It's games like Eldritch Horror that make the Halloween season a blast at the game table - and it's a game that we are proud to showcase the following upgrades for.
Elder Sign
Set in the 1920s, Elder Sign takes place in a museum's eclectic collection of occult artifacts that are posing a threat to our world! These dark artifacts have the potential to open portals to unleash the Ancient One! You and your group of 1-8 must cooperatively work together in a race against the clock to investigate and explore the eldritch symbols while keeping your sanity and stamina intact!
As is the case with other games set in the realm of the Cthulhu Mythos, this game has a lot of pieces inside the box! Our upgrades are geared to enhance and increase your immersion while playing the game and will replace the cardboard bits that come in the box.
Arkham Horror
One of the first big box games to expand H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos, Arkham Horror continues to impress, and can be found in many board game collections to this day! The task for you and your fellow adventurers is to close the open portals that lead to other dimensions and have the potential to unleash the Ancient One! You must act quickly to save the world - you are the last chance for hope!
A large, expansive world awaits you inside the board game box for Arkham Horror and our board game upgrades are guaranteed to help take your game to the next level!
Zombicide
As a survivor of the zombie apocalypse, you and your game group must collaboratively work together to defeat the hordes of undead zombies that are roaming the city! By choosing when to use each of your team member's unique abilities your group is much more likely to come out without being bitten, but it isn't always easy to do so. The more zombies that you kill, the more skilled you become...and the more skilled that you become, the more zombies appear! This unique, modular, tile-laying game will be able to entertain the same game group for years and our upgrades will help you customize your copy to stand out!
